Luxury Morocco Tours
Exceptional places to stay. A private journey between them. Morocco, arranged around you.
- Entirely private · Your own travelling party
- Exceptional stays · Chosen with you

The journey matters as much as the stay
A beautiful room.
And a Morocco worth stepping outside for.
Our luxury Morocco tours combine exceptional accommodation with a journey that feels personal from the first conversation. A palace hotel in Marrakech, a riad in Fes, a desert evening near Merzouga or a quiet Atlantic retreat can each shape the route. We plan the time between them just as carefully.
You travel with your own driver-guide and vehicle, not a shared group. Your days can include private cultural walks, food, architecture and landscapes, with room to enjoy the properties you have chosen. Luxury here means comfort and attention, but also the freedom not to be hurried.
Oualid Naciri founded Morocco Shiny Days in Marrakech in 2017, after beginning his professional work in Moroccan tourism around 2008. He plans your journey personally, matching the stays, driving days and experiences to the way you want to travel.
Plan your luxury journeyOualid’s recommendations
Places we would build a journey around.
These are recommended stays, not a compulsory hotel list. Choose the places that speak to you; we shape a coherent route around them rather than trying to fit every property into one holiday.

Marrakech
La Mamounia
For a grand Marrakech stay, La Mamounia brings gardens and the atmosphere of a landmark palace hotel. We would give it time: a relaxed morning and an evening at the hotel can matter as much as another excursion. It suits travellers who want a statement arrival or finale rather than simply a bed between visits.
Marrakech
La Villa des Orangers
A more intimate alternative, La Villa des Orangers suits travellers drawn to courtyard living and the quieter scale of a luxury riad. Choose between it and La Mamounia according to the feeling you want from Marrakech, not because every journey needs both. We discuss room preferences and the balance between medina exploration and downtime.
Fes
Riad Fès
Riad Fès is Oualid’s recommendation for a characterful luxury base in the historic city. Pair the stay with a thoughtful private medina walk, architectural detail and time to enjoy the property itself. Fes is best approached with a knowledgeable local guide rather than a hurried list of monuments.
Rabat
Four Seasons Hotel Rabat at Kasr Al Bahr
A restored palace setting gives Rabat a different kind of luxury stop: room to settle in alongside the capital’s gardens, historic quarters and Atlantic air. Rabat works especially well near the beginning of a journey arriving through Casablanca, before continuing to Fes. It need not be a brief transit stop.
Merzouga · Erg Chebbi
Arabian Nights Luxury Camp
For a Sahara chapter, Oualid recommends Arabian Nights Luxury Camp in the Merzouga area. The appeal is the change of landscape and rhythm: dunes, open skies and an evening away from the cities. We confirm the actual tent category and facilities, transfer arrangements and season suitability before you commit.
Oualidia · Atlantic coast
La Sultana Oualidia
La Sultana Oualidia is a natural choice for a slower lagoon-side finish. It belongs in a journey with enough time to stay still, rather than as a detour for one rushed night. After the medinas or a long inland route, Oualidia offers a different register: water, coastal light and space to rest.
All properties, room and tent categories, facilities and special arrangements are subject to availability. We confirm the exact accommodation in your personalised proposal. These recommendations do not imply an exclusive partnership or a guaranteed reservation.
A few possible shapes
Three beginnings. Never fixed packages.
These ideas show what luxury Morocco vacations can look like with realistic pacing. Your flights, interests and preferred stays decide the final itinerary.
7–8 days · A quieter escape
Marrakech & the lagoon
Begin with three or four nights in Marrakech at La Mamounia or La Villa des Orangers, balancing private city walks with time at the property. Continue to Oualidia for several nights at La Sultana. This is a strong choice for a honeymoon or a short holiday: two contrasting bases, no forced Sahara detour, and room for the stay itself to be part of the experience.

Palaces, riads & imperial cities
Arrive through Casablanca and begin in Rabat at Four Seasons Hotel Rabat at Kasr Al Bahr. Continue to Fes for Riad Fès, with time for the medina and a possible visit to Meknes and Volubilis. Finish with several nights in Marrakech. This route is for travellers who value architecture, food and hospitality and prefer to leave the long desert crossing for another journey.

Imperial cities, Sahara & Atlantic
Link Rabat and Fes with Merzouga, giving the desert a proper place in the itinerary rather than squeezing it into a single hurried night. Continue through the southern valleys with a comfortable intermediate stay, then Marrakech and, with enough days, Oualidia. City palace hotels and a remote camp offer different kinds of comfort; we choose the overnight stops and driving days honestly rather than promising identical luxury everywhere.
Explore the Grand Morocco routePrivate, in the ways that count.
Your vehicle and driver-guide are dedicated to your party. City visits can be arranged with specialist local guides, while meals, spa time and other experiences are chosen around your interests. Private does not mean every public monument or hotel is closed to other guests; it means the journey is yours, not a group timetable.
Comfort without pretending.
Some of Morocco’s most rewarding landscapes are separated by long drives. We build in intermediate nights where needed and discuss the vehicle that fits your party. Smaller riads may have stairs, and remote camps have different facilities from palace hotels. Tell us your mobility, dietary and room requirements before we propose the stays.
One clear, personal proposal.
Share your dates, party size, preferred properties and a comfortable budget range. Oualid will suggest a route and refine it with you. Your proposal sets out the chosen accommodation, transfers, guided visits, included meals and exclusions so that you know what you are agreeing to. Nothing is booked until you are happy.
For practical context, read our Morocco travel guide and season-by-season advice. Spring and autumn often suit a fuller circuit; summer calls for a different balance between cities, coast and desert.
Before your luxury journey begins.
- Are your luxury Morocco tours completely private?
- Yes. Your travelling party has its own vehicle and driver-guide, with no shared tour departures or strangers added to your itinerary. Hotels, restaurants and camps may host other guests; a private tour does not mean exclusive use of each property.
- Can we choose the hotels and riads for our journey?
- Yes. Tell us the properties you have in mind, or let us recommend a combination. La Mamounia, La Villa des Orangers, Riad Fès, Four Seasons Hotel Rabat at Kasr Al Bahr, Arabian Nights Luxury Camp and La Sultana Oualidia are among Oualid’s recommendations. Every stay and room category is subject to availability and confirmed in your proposal.
- How much does a luxury Morocco tour cost?
- The price depends on your dates, duration, party size, chosen properties, room categories and experiences. We prepare one clear price for your journey with the inclusions and exclusions set out. There is no meaningful single starting price for every combination of stays.
- How many days should we allow?
- Seven or eight days can work well for Marrakech with an Atlantic stay. Around ten to twelve days suits Rabat, Fes and Marrakech without the Sahara. For an unhurried journey combining imperial cities, Merzouga and a coastal finish, consider fourteen to sixteen days rather than compressing everything into a week.
- Can you arrange a luxury Sahara stay?
- We can build a private route around Merzouga and an appropriate camp, including Arabian Nights Luxury Camp where available. We confirm the specific tent, bathroom arrangements, meals and transfers in your proposal. A Sahara camp is remote: temperature control, power and connectivity should be checked rather than assumed to match a city hotel.
- Is a camel ride compulsory?
- No. You can choose a 4x4 transfer instead, and we discuss mobility and comfort needs before finalising the camp and route. The dunes can be enjoyed without riding a camel.
- When is the best time for luxury travel in Morocco?
- Spring and autumn are usually comfortable for multi-region journeys. Winter can be rewarding in Marrakech and the Sahara, with cold desert nights. In summer, we favour the coast and slower days; a luxury tent does not remove the desert’s extreme daytime heat.
- Can this be a honeymoon, family holiday or special celebration?
- Yes. We shape the room choices, pacing and experiences around the occasion and your party. Connecting rooms, private dining, spa appointments and other requests depend on the property and date, and are confirmed individually rather than promised as standard.
