Booking Terms and Conditions

Personalized proposals

Every Morocco Shiny Days journey is privately designed. A website itinerary is an example and does not become a confirmed booking until you receive and accept a personalized written proposal.

Your quotation or confirmation will state:

• travel dates and number of travelers;
• the agreed itinerary;
• included accommodation and transportation;
• included meals, guides and activities;
• services not included;
• the total price, deposit and remaining balance; and
• any booking-specific cancellation conditions.

If clearly disclosed conditions in your confirmed proposal differ from these general terms, the booking-specific conditions take precedence.

Deposit and confirmation

A 30% deposit is normally required to confirm a reservation. A reservation is not fully secured until the deposit has been received. The deposit is used to secure hotels, riads, desert camps, drivers, guides and other suppliers.

Exceptional high-season, festival, holiday or special-property bookings may require a larger deposit or full advance payment. Any different requirement will be disclosed before payment.

Remaining balance and payment methods

The remaining balance is normally payable upon arrival unless your written confirmation states another due date. Cash may be accepted in Moroccan dirhams, US dollars or euros, according to the exchange arrangement stated in the confirmation. You may request payment by bank transfer, PayPal or credit card.

International transfers should normally be initiated at least five to seven business days before the deadline. Any payment-processing, currency-conversion, bank or intermediary fee payable by you will be disclosed before you choose the payment method.

Prices and currency

Prices are valid only for the itinerary, dates, services and number of travelers in the written quotation. After the deposit is received, the confirmed price should not change unless you request a change, add a service, change dates or group size, or an exceptional new government tax or mandatory charge applies.

Currency conversions on payment links may reflect the exchange rate when the link is created. The remaining balance continues to be stated in the original confirmed currency unless agreed otherwise.

Itinerary adjustments

Reasonable operational adjustments may be necessary because of weather, road conditions, safety concerns, government restrictions, supplier changes or events outside reasonable control. Whenever possible, a replacement will be of a reasonably comparable standard, and material changes will be communicated promptly.

Traveler responsibilities and insurance

Travelers are responsible for:

• valid passports, visas and entry requirements;
• comprehensive travel insurance;
• declaring important medical, mobility, dietary or allergy requirements;
• arriving at agreed meeting places on time; and
• respecting Moroccan law, local customs, accommodation rules and safety instructions.

We strongly recommend insurance covering cancellation, medical treatment, luggage, missed flights and travel disruption.

What is included

Only services specifically listed in the confirmed proposal are included. International flights, travel insurance, personal expenses, drinks, gratuities and optional activities are excluded unless explicitly listed.
